Human case of West Nile identified in St. Joseph County

The Indiana State Department of Health has identified one case of the West Nile Virus in St. Joseph County.
It is the second case in Indiana. The first human case of West Nile Virus was identified last week in Huntington County.
Mosquitoes in 27 Indiana counties have tested positive for the virus so far this year.
No mosquito pools in St. Joseph County have been sampled.
