Over 140 golfers showed up for the 11th Annual Humane Society of St. Joseph County Golf Classic Monday.
The event raises funds for a variety of programs at the shelter.
"Programs at the shelter like Petsafe -- where we can keep pets for two weeks for free those people in emergency situations or domestic violence situations. Have a program where their pets can stay safe while they're finding new housing situations," said Genny Carlson, Executive Director of the Humane Society of St. Joseph County.
The Humane Society is the largest no kill shelter in the community.
