A big change this weekend
UPDATE: Officials with Hums Elementary School announced the school will remain closed on Tuesday due to the continued power outage.
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Due to a power outage caused by yesterday's severe weather, Hums Elementary School in Mishawaka will be closed today.
All other Mishawaka schools will be open and starting on time.
Crews are currently in the area working to restore downed power lines.
