Hundreds gather for Heritage Square shred event

GRANGER, Ind.-- Heritage Square was the place to shred Saturday.

Hundreds came out to the 5th Annual Crime Stopper's Shredding Event.

The event is set up to cut down on identity theft.

Those with Crime Stoppers recommend you shred all personal documents that you don't need anymore!

"A lot of people don't realize that crime stopper's is donor funded and this is one of our biggest fund raisers every year," said Lt. Cindy Kilgore from Crime Stoppers. 

Crime Stoppers was asking for a $10 donation to shread items at the event.
