Hundreds of extra police patrol the roads for Operation Pullover

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Don't be surprised if you see more police on the roads!

Operation Pullover kicked off on Thursday.

Over the next 17 days, hundreds of extra officers will be on the roads, looking for impaired and dangerous drivers.

The annual traffic blitz is coinciding with March Madness and St. Patrick's Day.

Last year, police arrested more than 600 drunk drivers.
