The Hunter Ice Festival in Niles kicked off Friday and runs through Sunday. It features ice sculptures, food and ice cream, a 5-K run, activities for the kids and much more.
If you want to run in the Frigid 5K run, you can register before the race, which begins at 9 a.m., at Inertia Cycleworks, 211 E Main.
It costs $20 to register, $25 if you want a T-shirt.
"We just want people to come out, see our downtown, see the ice, visit the stores, eat in our restaurants and just have a good time,” said Lucy McCauslin, Chairperson of the Niles DDA.
