Hunters target Florida's burmese pythons

MIAMI -- It's a hunting frenzy unlike any other. The target? Burmese pythons that are invading the Florida Everglades.

There are believed to be about 100,000 pythons squirming through South Florida and it's throwing off the ecosystem.

Now, 800 hunters are trying to catch the snakes, some of which are 17 feet long.

Hunters from 30 states are vying for a $1,500 pot for the longest snake.
