ABC 57 WARSAW, Ind. -- The City of Warsaw announced NIPSCO has closed the bridge on Husky Trail to all traffic as of Monday to connect a gas main on both sides of the bridge.
City officials say this comes after the recent bridge replacement project.
Officials expect the closure to last for about two and a half weeks.
Following the completion of said work, the road will be temporarily patched with concrete, city officials said.
A NIPSCO contractor is scheduled to return in the spring to resurface the work area following the reopening of asphalt plants.
Residents are encouraged to be prepared for extra travel time and utilize alternate routes during the bridge closure.
