ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after three live animals were found neglected and seven dead animals were found improperly disposed of on a farm along U.S. 20.
At 1 p.m. on Friday, an employee with the Humane Society of Elkhart County reported that there were seven improperly disposed dead farm animals at a farm in the 19000 block of U.S. 20.
Deputies also discovered neglect of a dependent on three other farm animals.
This is an ongoing investigation.
