Improvement project coming to SR 23 and Main Street

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that the intersection of SR 23 and Main Street will undergo an improvement project beginning Tuesday.

This project is designed to widen the intersection and add turn lanes on SR 23.

One lane will remain open for drivers in each direction of SR 23 during the construction.

Drivers will be unable to turn left onto Main Street while travelling northeast on SR 23.

INDOT estimates this project will be finished by early August.
