Indiana candy company announces voluntary recall

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. -- As a direct result of a recent Jif Peanut Butter recall, the Albanese Confectionery Group of Merrillville is voluntarily recalling the company’s Mini and Giant Peanut Butter Cups.

Recalled products includes Rich’s Milk Chocolate Mini Peanut Butter Cups sold after November 11, 2021 and Rich’s Milk Chocolate Giant Layered Peanut Butter Cups sold after January 23, 2022.

Anyone who purchased these products with the associated lot are urged to destroy the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumers with questions may contact the company by calling 219-472-6306 on Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by emailing [email protected].
