Indiana Center for Recovery opening in downtown Mishawaka
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Center for Recovery plans to open a new location in downtown Mishawaka this spring.
The organization, which is a voluntary, private, patient-centered substance use disorder and mental health treatment facility, is set to open in the former Saint Joseph Hospital facility.
The building was purchased by the Center for Recovery in late 2019.
The Center was established in 2016 in Bloomington and focuses on treatment for individuals over the age of 18. The organization is the only facility in the state to offer a full range of care.
The Mishawaka Center will provide outpatient, inpatient, and dual diagnosis treatment for mental health illnesses and Substance Use Disorder, from addiction recovery to emotional trauma and conditions like PTSD and abuse.
When it first opens, the residential capacity will be 35 patients, with outpatient services based on demand.
The Center plans to accept all insurance and has a contract with Tricare for active military members.
