Indiana Democratic Party releases delegate allocation numbers

The Indiana Democratic Party released the final delegate allocation for the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

The 56 pledged delegates split across the congressional districts are proportionally allocated according to the results in each district. The 27 statewide pledged delegates are divided proportionally according to the statewide results, according to the Indiana Democratic Party.

Convention delegates will be selected during the Indiana Democratic State Convention at the Indiana Convention Center on June 18, 2016.

Senator Bernie Sanders received 44 delegates and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received 39 delegates.
