Indiana Democrats unite for campaign tour, hold rally in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -

With just days left before the election, Indiana’s Democratic candidates have their boots on the ground.

The “Moving Indiana Forward" bus tour, led by gubernatorial candidate John Gregg, is making 54 stops in 8 days.

Gregg is joined by Evan Bayh, campaigning to win back his seat in the Senate.

On Thursday they held meet and greets in Elkhart and Goshen, ending the night with a rally in South Bend.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg was there to show his support for the Democratic party.

“I’m so proud of our city, I’m so proud of our growth, I’m so proud of the energy, but the reality is we can’t do this alone. All of the good things that we have in South Bend right now depend on having good, and may I say, sane leadership,” said Mayor Buttigieg.

Also on the tour Senator Joe Donnelly, Superintendent Glenda Ritz, and Attorney General candidate Lorenzo Arrendondo.
