Indiana Department of Natural Resources seeking volunteers for MLK day

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is seeking volunteers for Martin Luther King Jr. day.

DNR gives citizens a variety of ways to make a difference in maintaining, improving, and restoring Indiana’s natural and cultural heritage.

Among the opportunities available for volunteers are maintaining trails, helping in nature centers, and sharing photography or artwork.

On January 18 some properties will have self-directed service opportunities.

Check the DNR calendar at www.calendar.dnr.IN.gov for the lists of activities available on January 18.
