Indiana Republican Party chair Kyle Hupfer took to X on Friday, August 18 to announce his intention to step down from the Republican GOP party. 

This follows six and a half years of leading the party as Hupfer wrote, "It's been an honor and a privilege."

“The Indiana Republican Party is strong. And I believe that if we continue to deliver results that matter, Hoosiers will continue to place their trust in us and elect and reelect Republicans long into the future." - Chairman Hupfer

Chairman Hupfer will step down when his successor is appointed, according to Indiana GOP.
