Indiana governor candidate says more money need for Indiana roads

The democratic candidate for Indiana governor John Gregg says that Indiana should create a $500 million investment fund to pay for road projects.

"If we don't have great infrastructure in Indiana, it's going to be awfully hard to get our manufactured goods, our commodoties, our produce, our ag products to the market place," Gregg said.

He also says that he would build the fund from gas tax revenues and money left over from the Toll Road lease.

Republican Mike Pence says he wants to study the issue first before coming up with a plan.

But he thinks the state should partner with more private companies to build roads.
