Indiana has 27,778 cases of COVID-19, 1,607 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced there are 511 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths.

There are a total of 27,778 cases and 1,607 Hoosiers have died.

To date, 177,243 tests have been reported to the department.

Intensive care unit and ventilator capacity remains steady. Just over 38 percent of ICU beds and 80 percent of ventilators were available as of Friday.

  • Fulton Co.: 43 cases, 1 death
  • Kosciusko Co.: 56 cases, 1 death, 20 recovered
  • La Grange Co.: 49 cases, 2 deaths
  • La Porte Co.: 358 cases, 14 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 43 cases, 1 death
  • Pulaski Co.: 34 cases
  • St. Joseph Co.: 971 cases, 28 deaths, 292 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 28 cases, 2 deaths
