Indiana has 8,955 cases of COVID-19, 436 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced 440 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with the coronavirus and 49 deaths have been reported since Tuesday.

There are a total of 8,955 cases and 436 residents have died.

To date, 48,396 tests have been reported to the health department.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 156.

Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Allen (12), Hamilton (15), Hendricks (11), Johnson (18), Lake (55) and St. Joseph (40).

  • Pulaski: 1 case
  • St. Joseph Co.: 273 cases, 5 deaths, 20 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 10 cases, 1 death
