Indiana has 81,847 cases of COVID-19, 2,954 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced there are 850 new cases of COVID-19 and 28 deaths.

There are a total of 81,847 cases and 2,954 Hoosiers have died.

To date, tests for 928,614 unique individuals have been reported to the department.

As of today, nearly 39 percent of ICU beds and nearly 82 percent of ventilators are available across the state.

ISDH will host four free testing sites from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday:

  • Team Rehabilitation, 223 Chicago Ave., Goshen
  • Northside Gymnasium, 300 Lawrence St., Elkhart

The daily positive test rate represents the percent of individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 on a given date. The 7-day period is delayed 6 days to allow time to receive comprehensive test results.
