INDIANA -- Indiana's unemployment rate is up again, for the 5th straight month.
Numbers show the jobless rate hit 9 percent in October, but, there is some good news many Hoosiers are headed back to work.
Workforce development says 36,000 people started new jobs since August. That's the largest 3-month increase since 1993.
Michigan's jobless rate dropped last month, but it's still higher than Indiana at 10.6 percent.
