The Indiana Social Security office is urging the public to go online for services.
Starting Monday, their offices will close a half hour early each day and at noon on Wednesday after Jan. 1.
The hope is that employees will have time to wrap up face-to-face interviews without the additional cost of overtime.
The office wants folks to check their website before coming in to see if services can be done there.
