Indiana State Police investigating fatal crash on U.S. 31

PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Indiana State Police say a 31-year-old man died after colliding with the rear of a semi Monday morning. 

According to ISP, the crash on U.S. 31 at 11th Road happened around 9:30 a.m.

A white semi-trailer was traveling westbound on 11th Road prior to turning onto U.S. 31. After the semi made the turn and was getting up to speed, a black Ford F150 collided with the rear of the trailer. 

The truck became fused to the trailer. 

Troopers identified the victim as 31-year-old Mitchell Warner of Cloverdale. 

Warner was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Alcohol is not suspected in the crash.
