Indiana State Police K-9 Chase retires today

BREMEN, Ind. -- Every dog has its day, and for Indiana State Police K-9 Chase, the day has come to hang up his harness and relax. 

The 10-year-old Belgian Malinois has been a loyal member of the Indiana State Police Breman Post for the past eight years. 

"He worked like a dog for eight years in the Bremen District sniffing out drugs, locating people, making public appearances, and just being a good boy." ISP Sgt. Ted Bohner said. "At 10 years old, it is time to hang up the harness and enjoy the life of a retired dog. Everyone will miss Chase and his visits to the post seeking out some loving and treats."
