Indiana State Police Trooper Eric Rot hosted an informative meth awareness class Monday at the Starke County Building.
Starke County Emergency Management says some of the common supplies used in the production of meth were shown during the class.
According to the Indiana Methamphetamine Investigation System, Indiana had 1,452 meth labs busted in 2015, and of those, Starke County had 42 meth labs busted.
They say the surrounding counties are much lower so Starke County officials continue to actively seek out these labs in their area.
