Indiana State Police stepping up seat belt patrols in Noble County

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind.-- Click it, or ticket. Starting on Friday, Indiana State Police will increase seat belt patrols through out the county.

Police are aiming at increasing seat belt use in rural counties with the highest percentage of unrestrained fatalities.

It is an annual effort but the state's Rural Demonstration Project.

Last year, law enforcement cited more than 18,000 motorists for failing to buckle up.
