Indiana students can win $5,000 for college

Hoosier middle school and high school students! Here’s your chance to earn some money for college. But you better hurry, there is only a short time to apply!

The Independent Colleges of Indiana is going to award two $5,000 scholarships to go with 31 Answers (to Your Questions about College) initiative.

Anyone between the ages of 13-19 (middle, junior or high school) can enter. But if you win the money, there is a restriction you need to know about.

The scholarship can only be used at one of Indiana’s 31 private, non-profit colleges and universities. The money will not be released until the winners are accepted and enrolled in one of those schools.

The campaign is a series of short videos made by admissions counselors and students on these college campuses. The video talks about the most common questions students and their families have when thinking about college.

Winners will be randomly picked.

The money for these scholarships was made possible from the F.A. Wilhelm Construction and one of ICI’s corporate partners.

Entries are accepted starting November 1st and ending Friday, November 4th. For more information about these scholarships and how to enter, go to www.indianacolleges31.org
