Indiana trucker charged in deadly Illinois crash

Bond has been set at one million dollars for a truck driver involved in a deadly crash in Illinois.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. Monday in the northbound lanes of I-55 just south of Arsenal Road.
Illinois State Police say Francisco Espinal-Quiroz was speeding in a construction zone when he abruptly changed lanes. It caused a chain reaction crash involving two cars and a van.
Four women were killed and four people were injured.
The women killed were identified as:
- Kimberly K. Britton, 43, Urbana, Illinois
- Piper Britton, Urbana, Illinois
- Vicky L. Palacios, 54, Coal City, Illinois
- Ulrike P. Blopleh, 48, Channahon, Illinois
Espinal-Quiroz was charged with felony logbook violations and received a traffic citation for failure to reduce speed.
Espinal-Quiroz is the owner-operator of Espinal Trucking in Leesburg, Indiana.
