Indiana union membership levels hit record low

Union memberships in Indiana are at record low levels.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is saying an aging work force, along with changes in the public sector, are contributing to the low membership numbers.

Union memberships made up just 9.1 percent of Indiana's work force in 2012. That's down from 22 percent 30 years ago.

Union leaders say organized labor isn't dead yet.
