Indiana University Kelley School of Business addresses questions at Futurecast 2026
Futurecast 2026 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Tuesday, November 18, the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Economists addressed questions during their Futurecast 2026 economic outlook tour.
They presented economic forecasts for the nation, Indiana and communities across the state. After presentations they opened the floor to a question and answer for students and other attendees.
Dr. Phil Powell Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy states, " We are not staring into an economic abyss. We do not forecast a recession. You have to understand, in the current environment, things feel worse than they really are."
The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University has been sharing its forecasts for the economies of the nation, Indiana and metro areas for more than 50 years.
The annual tour will travel to 11 cities across the state, beginning October 29 in Indianapolis and concluding in Northwest Indiana on November 21.
