Indiana University student killed in Miami Beach hit-and-run

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- According to the Miami Beach Police, 24-year-old Greatgomon Laowatdhanasapya was identified as one of the two pedestrians killed in a hit-and-run in Miami Beach, Florida on Wednesday. 

The other victim was identified as 22-year-old Sarisa Kongduang, who was a current student at Indiana University on spring break. 

Miami Beach Police confirmed the two were hit by a car driving in a reckless manner without headlights. 

The driver was identified as 42-year-old Adan Negron-Morris, who ran into a nearby Walgreens where he was later arrested. 

Adan Negron-Morris has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash involving a death.
