Indianapolis man rushes field, bites cop

You've heard the saying “take a bite out of crime”.  Well, an Indianapolis man is accused of doing just the opposite!

Police say 27-year-old Dejuan Wells rushed the field at a pee-wee football game Saturday because he was upset with the referee.

When two cops tried to calm him down, police say he bit them!

"The other officer had been bit, very severely, I had no choice but to try to get control of him, and that's when he bit me also,” said Tyneka Poland with the Indianapolis Police.

Monday night, Wells was charged with battery and resisting arrest.
