Indianapolis Motor Speedway unveils pace car for Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS -- On your marks, get set, go!

On Tuesday, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway unveiled the pace car for the upcoming Indy 500.

Check out the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1.

This marks the 23rd time Chevrolet will pace the race.

With 638 horsepower, it's the most powerful pace car ever.

The 2013 model is also a historic year for the Corvette.

"This is the 60th anniversary of corvette.. in 2013.  So, we wanted to showcase the pace car in a livery that consumers can buy next year," said Jeff Belskus, IMS President and CEO.

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri will drive the pace car.

The Indianapolis 500 is May 27th.
