INDOT reminds drivers US-31 access closed by several side roads

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Transportation says access to US-31 will be closed starting Monday.  

Access to US-31 will be closed to multiple side roads on the south side of South Bend starting Monday, July 28 and lasting until the end of the year.  

Here are the streets where drivers won't be able to access US-31--

--Jewell Avenue

--Hildebrand Street

--Yoder Street

--Dice Street

--Pulling Street

--Gilmer Street

--Pasadena Avenue

--Detroit Avenue

--Lucinda Street

The new US-31 construction ties into the existing US-31.  Drivers can continue to access US-31 by Main Street, Kern Road, and Ireland Road.
