SOUTH BEND, Ind. – An old beauty made a stop in South Bend.
ABC57 News found an Indianapolis 500 pace car from 1962 sitting outside of the Studebaker Museum.
It's a 1962 Studebaker Lark and it was made in South Bend. The local Studebaker Driver's Club was at the museum for a meeting and brought their cars.
We are less than a month away from the 96th running of the big race. This year's Indy 500 will include many events, like Legend’s Day, a golf outing, and of course a car festival.
There's also supposed to be some type of tribute for the late Dan Wheldon who won last year's race.
