ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department responded to a serious injury crash Thursday morning in the 55000 block of State Road 15 near County Road 14.

Police say the crash happened around 8:45 a.m. and involved a minivan, a pickup, a pickup pulling an RV, and a passenger car.

The driver of a Honda Odyssey, 33-year-old Harry Roy, suffered severe head trauma in the crash.

Deputies say Roy was traveling northbound on SR 15 when his vehicle crossed left of the center line and struck a GMC 2500 traveling southbound on SR15.

Roy's vehicle then struck the travel trailer the GMC was pulling, causing debris to scatter throughout the roadway and into a Dodge Ram.

As Roy's vehicle rotated, it struck a Toyota Corolla traveling southbound on SR 15.

Only Roy was injured in the crash. The other three drivers were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
