Inmate dies at Berrien County Jail

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- A woman is dead after being found unresponsive in her cell at the Berrien County Jail.
Deputies confirm 32-year-old Kiara Necole Haynes was found in her cell at 12:38 a.m. on Monday.
Life saving measures were taken by jail staff and medics but were unsuccessful.
Haynes had previous medical conditions and was being held on drug charges.
No signs of trauma were found on Haynes. An autopsy will be performed to determine her cause of death.
