Investigators confirm meth lab explosion caused house fire

ELKHART, Ind. -- Investigators confirm that a house fire on the 1800 block of Fieldhouse Avenue in Elkhart was caused by a meth lab explosion.
Firefighters say the call came in just after 7:00 p.m. The say no one was home when the fire started and no one was injured in the fire.
Late Saturday night, the Indiana State Police were called in to assist in the investigation.
