Investigators looking into 11 house fires on Detroit's eastside

DETROIT -- Investigators in Detroit are looking into a series of house fires.
On late Sunday and early Monday, firefighters were called to 11 homes on the city's east side.
Most of the homes were abandoned.
One firefighter was sent to the hospital with a head injury but is expected to be okay.
On Monday morning, the mayor of Detroit announced the layoffs of 164 Detroit firefighters
