Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse team play Syracuse on Saturday
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57 Kickoff's Allison Hayes spoke to former Notre Dame football coach Charlie Weis after running into him at the Golic Family SubPar Classic charity event.
The charity event brings dozens of Irish Legends back to South Bend every summer, and this was only his second time visiting Notre Dame's campus since he was let go.
Weis returns to South Bend often to visit his daughter Hannah, who lives at the "Hannah and Friends" community that he and his wife Maura developed to help their daughter and others with special needs.
Weis spoke about what he's up to now and his thoughts on this year's team.
