NOTRE DAME, Ind. - This past weekend, Notre Dame men's basketball dropped a heartbreaker at the buzzer to the defending national champion North Carolina. Three days later, the Irish had another shot at a signature win against Louisville.
Once again, it came down to a thrilling finish, but despite the return of senior point guard Matt Farrell, the Irish fell 82-78 in double overtime.
After a 3-0 start to conference play, the Irish have now fallen to 3-3 in the ACC. They next play Saturday against Clemson on the road.
