Irish off to fast start, plenty to improve on

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -

The Notre Dame Men's Basketball Team ran through the month of November undefeated at 7-0.

The red hot start has the fan base excited about Notre Dame Hoops considering this team was supposed to experience some growing pains after losing Demetrius Jackson and Zach Auguste, but at 7-0 tough to identify a lot of negatives with Mike Brey's squad.

Notre Dame's November included wins over Colorado, Northwestern, and most recently, Iowa. The Irish are expected to be challenged this month taking on Purdue and Villanova.

The Irish players says it's nice to have this start, but realize this product is far from perfect.

"We still have a long way to go, I think we can get a lot better which is fun to be successful and still know you can be better I think is pretty good so just coming in every single day and having the same good habits is important," Steve Vastoria said.

Notre Dame has struggled sometimes with ball security turning it over 14 times against Iowa. Matt Farrell produced many of this turnovers but Brey said he doesn't mind them because he likes Farrell's aggressive play in the early part of the season.

Notre Dame plays North Carolina A&T Sunday at Purcell Pavilion. Tip off at 5 PM ET.
