SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The number one ranked Fighting Irish men's lacrosse team is preparing for a quarter final match in the 2024 NCAA Tournament against the lone team that beat them this season, the No. 8 ranked Georgetown Hoyas, on Saturday in Long Island.
"A little bit more of a bad taste in our mouth when we hear the name rather than thinking of this as a revenge game" said Jake Taylor, player for the Fighting Irish. "I mean, any games revenge game, there's not a team in D-1 we like."
The Fighting Irish are the defending national champions
