Irish set focus on 4th ranked Cardinal

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Notre Dame football team will hit the road to Palo Alto this weekend for the final game of the season.

The Irish are now ranked 22 in both the AP and BSC rankings, but Saturday. They'll face off against #4 Stanford.

The Stanford Cardinal are lead by Heisman front-runner Andrew Luck. ABC57 talked with Al McKellar , the head of the Kelly Cares Foundation, to see how Notre Dame can pull off an upset.

Take care of the ball obviously is one of the big things,” said McKellar. “Coach Kelly preaches it every game though.  That is nothing different, and then in the critical stanza, you know the special teams, the offense and defense, obviously winning those three categories and we got a good chance of winning a football game.”

Kick-off for Saturday night's game is at 8. You can catch all the excitement right here on ABC 57.
