Irish, Spartans jump in AP poll

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Notre Dame jumped in this week's Associated Press Poll. The Irish now sit at No. 20.
Michigan State falls in ahead of the Irish at No.10. More than half of the Irish’s next opponents land in the top 25.
That includes Michigan, Oklahoma, and BYU. USC comes in highest at No. 2.
This week the Irish will take on the Spartans.
They handed MSU one of their three loses last season, but the Spartans are coming off of an easy win Saturday with a 41-7 win over Central Michigan.
Kick-off is slated for 8 p.m. Saturday night at Spartan Stadium.
