IU focusing on student safety

Lauren Spierer's disappearance  means school is not the only thing on students' minds at IU. They are also thinking about their own safety.

IU is warning students to take a lesson from Spierer's disappearance. Bloomington stores say more students are stocking up on mace, pepper spray, and even stun guns.

The university is also offering self-defense classes for students this year.
