IUSB mourns the loss of Dean Regan-Kubinski

SOUTH BEND, Ind. –- IUSB students and faculty are mourning the loss of one of their own.

Mary Jo Regan-Kubinski, the Dean of the College of Health and Services, died on Sunday after a brief illness.

She joined the IUSB family in 2003. Before that, she was the Dean of Nursing at Saint Mary's College. Memorial services are still being planned.

She was just 60-years old.

IUSB Chancellor Una Reck says Dean Regan-Kubinski will be greatly missed.

Reck said this on Tuesday in an e-mail to students and staff:

“Dean Regan-Kubinski was an energetic, passionate, and dedicated advocate for the College of Health Sciences. We will miss her leadership and friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family."
