Ivy Tech Community College announces new chancellor for South Bend-Elkhart campus

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Ivy Tech Community College has appointed a new chancellor for the South Bend-Elkhart campus.

Dr. Tia Robinson-Cooper will become the new chancellor of Ivy Tech after leaving her position as president of Contra Costa College in California.

Her plan includes an initiative to increase the number of people that come into the college from high school.

The national search firm Myers-McRae assisted in finding and selecting Dr. Robinson-Cooper.
