Ivy Tech giving away free laptops to students

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College, South Bend-Elkhart is starting an incentive program for new and continuing students registering for fall classes.

Until August 14th, the school will give away two laptops every day, with one going to a new student and the other to a continuing student.

“We know many of our students struggle with access to technology. We wanted to reinforce the fact that we are here to support our students through this unprecedented time and are excited to start this fall semester,” said Ethan Zagore, Vice Chancellor of Student Success.

To be eligible for the giveaway, students must be registered for at least six credit hours starting August 24th.

The drawings will be held every day at 5 p.m. on their Facebook page, with winners from Friday through Sunday announced on Monday.

If a continuing student refers a friend that registers for the fall, both students will receive a free credit hour.
