Bridging the healthcare gap in Michiana
Employees of Jayco Incorporated spent Monday giving back to the Michiana communities that support the company.
Workers in Middlebury, Topeka and Shipshewana handed out stuffed animals at local hospitals, provided coffee and donuts to police and fire departments and the Jayco mascot even pumped gas for people.
"The whole value system my mom and dad started and operated by is really what's perpetuating what we're doing today and how we try to operate on a daily basis," said Wilbur Bontrager, the Chairman of Jayco.
Monday was the 50th day of Jayco's 50th year in business.
The company began making campers and RVs in Middlebury in 1968.
